Should Michigan loosen gun rules, allow concealed weapons in schools, churches? | MLive.com

  1. The question has been asked again; "Should Michigan loosen gun rules, allow concealed weapons in schools, churches?" According to the article Linda Elenbaas claims, '”I don’t think they should have any gun-free zones,” she said. “That’s where the criminals might go to do their dirty deeds. They know they won’t get any resistance.”'

    Is this where we are heading? I am not to sure about that. However, it would be convenient to allow those who conceal carry to be able to attend church and be on a schools campus without having to retire their gun to its respectful place.

    Last year around this time, the same question arose. There was even a empty holster protest done on NMUs campus by the NMU Sportsman Gun Club.

    It is our right to carry, so I guess we will just have to wait and see if our State Congress has changed their minds yet.
