One Year From Now
Hold your breath. This time, this month, this week, this hour next August we will know who is the Republican and Democratic nominee for Governor! Not to mention for the Michigan Senate and House general election candidates will be finalized. The primary is over and we are in the general election. One year from now we are heavy into partisan sniping, attacks, mistruths and multi media advertising. Oh goody. Can't wait.

In all reality the Democratic Nominee will be Lt. Gov. Cherry (as funny as that may seem), but the Republican side of the ticket will become quite fierce in the upcoming few months. I feel that with Lynn Land supporting Bouchard that it gives him a little bit of help on the West side of the state where Hoekstra is dominant. Cox will play a minimal factor but I feel that Bouchard will end up winning the nomination due to name recognition and the fact that he is from the East side of the state.
